A very fun fort to go see and learn about. Great for kids because they can run over a lot of the structures and have a fun time

Great history and we'll kept. It's so much fun. The family loved it. Growing up near here, it's always been our go to spot.

Great place to visit with the family. Had a chance to go there and have a guided visit. The guide was truly entertaining, teaching us a lot about the fort and it's history. Very windy place, make sure you bring a jacket or extra layer, even during hot summer days, it can be much cooler here.

The ramparts have not been full restored - lacking the gun emplacements and many of the buildings which would have been found outside the fort walls but it's still a good spot to visit and learn.

A wonderful historic site with a knowledgeable staff and a small museum.
